      Technical Support Specialist Interview

      28 Jun 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Orange, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Orange, CA) in May 2019

      Interview

I had two group interviews and got an offer after (I believe my case was special since my first interview was with one of the corporate higher-ups and thus if I passed was able to skip some of the intermediate steps and go straight to the final interview with the store manager/team. lead.) Both interviews took place inside the store in one of the corners where it was less noisy. It was a very casual interview but applicants including myself all came in slacks/chinos with a tucked in button-up. The first interview was on a tablet, where the interviewer would tell you to choose a question on a program that had different tiers of questions. For example, "choose group 3 question 5" and only you would answer that question. I thought that was a good thing so that everyone got a chance to shine and prevent piggybacking each other but it was put you on the spot since you didn't have much time to come up with an adequate answer. The second interview was a smaller group than the first and was direct (and harder) questions that came from the interviewer.
