I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amgen (South San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Three rounds, HR, hiring manager then with the team.
Overall it is pretty straightforward to describe your work experience and ask about related proficiencies. Team was friendly and helpful about getting to know the company and culture.
Interview was fairly standard. Questions were basic. It was only an online interview with the Principle Scientist after the initial HR phone screening. Was told in the interview they only hire the most qualified candidate. In rejection email "sorry, but we are going to hire a friend of someone that already works here" So if you want to work for Amgen, I hope you have the right friend, otherwise they'll never hire you. I heard they might hire you if you just graduated, but what about those of us that are mid-career?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amgen (Thousand Oaks, CA)
Interview
The process was smooth. First with the HR, then is phone interview with the manager, lastly, it's the panel interview with the team.
Questions mainly focus on previous experience, technical experiences, and some behavior questions.
Feedback/response was provided within a week after the interview.
