they wanted someone had machine learning background and I was stuck there. I did not understand the manager's question well because of the Indian accent. But I am Chinese and that is may be the reason. I see Americans can understand them quite well.

If I remembered correctly. He asked questions about prediction of new drug prescription number by a list of doctors. For example, if we have 500 doctors, list them by the number of prescriptions of that drug by those doctors

Difficult process needed attention on knowledge. Also required hands on knowledge of other cloud technologies. Therefore it can be easily put into words as if simple term that the interview was not an easy process at all. It tested various areas of expertise

Phone interview. Then Technical Interview. Finally Hiring Manager Interview. Pretty smooth. Asked me about my resume more than anything else. Don't lie on your resume because some engineers at Amgen are quite knowledgeable, despite being in biotech.
