This company is heavily product driven. They don’t care about engineering, cutting edge, tech, technologies, or innovation. Product managers and owners act like project managers, and constantly get in the way of engineering and don’t allow the engineers to do their work the right way. Tech debt is immense and nobody cares about it. All your senior managers are also product slaves.

Pros: Flexible schedule, teammates willing to share their experience/advice, no direct supervision

Cons: Constant need to prospect and bring in more business, and handle the current book of business. This was hard for me as a new advisor.
