Our £20m Green Economy Fund invests and supports the communities we serve to help them reach their green ambitions and the governments net zero ambitions. Our fund has supported a variety of EV projects since the start of the project, purchasing 25 electric vehicles and installing 17 EV charge points. So far, 102,118 miles in distance travelled from EVs and 5,378 EV journeys have been completed.
We celebrate World EV Day by shining a light on just some of the cutting edge projects our people are leading on to drive towards a cleaner, greener electric future that everyone can benefit from.
So far, 33 projects have been awarded funding from SP Energy Networks’ Green Economy Fund across Central and Southern Scotland to make real, lasting, and positive change across the country.
