We understand people not always take rejection positively. So you are free to criticise. But we object to false information part. If you can prove, "we force employees to give a good review on social media," we will reward you with a bounty! Dare to prove anything on this line? 80% of our team is remote, and communication happens on Slack. Also, every instruction we give to our employees is in writing. And in writing, we have made it clear that verbal communication is considered null and void at rtCamp. If you are not given a task/instruction in writing, you don't need to even work on it. So the reviewer should have instructions in writing where we forced employees to give positive reviews.

rtCamp hired very few marketing executives. I remember only 3. 2 old and 1 current. One of old marketer started his own company (SocialChamps). Our current marketing executive will be joining another startup as co-founder and partner soon. So that leaves only one old marketing guy. I remember hiring an idiot who most likely cheated in assignment. That is why, when time came to deliver value, he failed and got fired in probation period itself. Looks like you are that guy because that guy asked me to "Give fake experience letter for 6 months" which I refused. So your review makes sense as I "destroyed" your career by refusing to give you a fake experience letter which could have helped you a cheat other companies!

Pros

- Decent Salary - Remote work - Job security

Cons

- Company is completely service based, so if you are coming from product based companies, there is going to be a huge cultural shock. During training they teach you like school kid. They nitpick small details from a simple text message. - They are so proud on themselves that working with clients and having no in house product excites them. - There are literally only 4 holidays in a year , rest you can take upto 21 paid leaves. - You must have to complete 8 hours daily, add time entries and get them approve. It feels so robotic and make you detach from work. - They are all about WordPress and PHP, so you are not going to learn about outside this scope. You are not going to hear about most common tech used outside this space - People have to write proper explanation (like I'm away for hours because I'm doing this chore, going there, sick with actual disease description) - Company is so much tech specific, so rather then solving engineering problems and being tech agnostic they are attached with the same old wp since it's a service based company and clients needs it.
