Worked in Lithuanian office. Joining this company has been the biggest mistake of my life and it is highly unlikely that there will ever be another event or decision that will be more detrimental to my life than joining Zenitech. This statement is not exaggerated. By joining this company I sacrificed far better offers for career progression. The company seemed to be a great work environment: adopting the latest tech stack, broad scope of development tooling, great Glassdoor reviews. When in reality the actual workplace was nothing like it’s interview process and reviews would lead to believe. The workplace is extremely toxic. Tech lead of first project constantly kept repeating ”dominate, humiliate, rule” with a smile on his face while practicing such behavior in daily work while the code design and implementation of the employee is by no means exceptional or difficult to replace with the work of other candidates: basic code that is copied over between projects without proper review retaining defects, creating conventional applications that require little modification from other standard applications with many examples online. Management either is apathetic or has no authority, since when this and other problems are introduced to them there are no consequences or responsibility taken for these issues. Work environment is terrible in general. Never before have I seen so many blockers anywhere else for performing daily duties, never have I had to work with more convoluted code. Working at this company required sacrificing better offers and I wasted my time working with some of the worst code I have ever seen in a highly toxic environment. This company is made for those that do not concern themselves with what value they are creating to society and is a “death sentence” to anyone with a sense of ambition. I deeply regret joining this company and it’s highly doubtful that any decision in the future will have greater consequences than joining Zenitech.
