Pros

Xcentric is a growing company with lots of new opportunities to advance opening every month and the company offers pretty competitive benefits (medical, 401k, PTO, etc.). Although Xcentric is growing, it is not small. The company was recently purchased by RightNetworks and is pretty large now, but has still somehow maintained a level of SMB atmosphere. The company is willing to let you work remotely if you are sick, live too far away, etc. if you prove yourself and demonstrate good time management and high productivity. I really enjoy working for Xcentric.

Cons

The work is hard, I will never tell someone what we do here is simple because it's not. If you already work in IT and find a small network confusing, the work we do here may rattle your cage a bit. But don't be too intimidated, I literally did not know the difference between an SQL database and a flat file when I started and I'm learning and thriving here.

Pros

You will work with some of the most sincere colleagues, endless jokes, great benefits, opportunities for growth and will learn something new everyday. Management wants to see you grow and advance inside and outside of work.

Cons

This is not where you go if you are looking to take maybe a call a day and play solitaire. The work pace is fast.

Pros

The best part about Xcentric is the culture, they encourage you to be yourself and have fun with your job while also giving you the opportunity to grow in your knowledge. They model humility like no company I have seen before. It's a place where not only do you see the CEO or COO everyday, but they remember your name and most likely your recent vacation or event in your life and ask you about it. I feel at home here and although there is plenty of work, they leave room for play as well.

Cons

Non at this time.
