Pros

Exactly as you would expect: exploitative and disappointing

Cons

-The position was sexist, they put me with toys because I'm a woman and then had me cover electronics all the time because of staffing but would not pay me the higher electronics position pay. -The propaganda videos in the required trainings are amazingly terrible. They are extremely anti-union and have videos about why "being in a union would hurt our walmart family". Meanwhile, they engage in poor payment practices like above and the waltons are doing great financially. -When they go to look in the back for something, they're not going to find it, but it is nice to give an associate a break that way.

Pros

I’m still thinking…and still thinking…

Cons

Management is not held accountable, investigated, or disciplined for their acts of discrimination or abuse of authority reported to Employee Relations at Corporate. During peak hours Front End Supervisors were anywhere but at the front end to assist associates at their registers when needed. Pay is not commensurate with experience. Worse, new hired Stockers started at $17/hr., while five and six-year associates were still underpaid. Management, Lead positions and above, did not reflect the ethnic diversity of the area: and not for lack of qualified talent.
