Pros

Few. The company lowballs bids and provides below average wages. Professional growth is unlikely. The future of the company is probable continued mediocrity.

Cons

CEO is known for emotional outbursts, emotional decisions. Poor ethics and values. The company is unlikely to grow, as the CEO does not have the management expertise to cause this.

Pros

Pros? For TMR? That's a joke.

Cons

I love that someone said it's a great place to grow. What? Grow how? If' one has managed to actually be at TMR long enough to "grow" (whatever that means in this company), best of luck to you and bless your heart because you've wasted a lot of time becoming a minion for a living. It's not a coincidence that the only two positive reviews about this company were posted in rapid succession on August 18th and August 19th. This is clearly staged. Whose job was threatened if they didn't post one? Who was afraid to be reprimanded in front of the entire staff if they didn't post one? Which minions? So sad. Listen. The bad news is that time flies. The good news is that you're the pilot. I beg you not to let this company control your plane.

Where do I start?

Pros

There are none, other than they win many contracts based solely on undercutting the other bidders in terms of price. In the end though, you are treated simply as a disposable asset to be used and thrown away at their leisure.

Cons

As the title says, where do I start? 1. You are an hourly employee. Let me qualify this before they respond. My paycheck was consistent when I started, as every pay period was 11 days. I found out that I was an hourly employee at Christmas when I took time off, and was 2.5 hours short of the 88. They did not allow me to go in the negative for 24 hours, even though I had another 5 hours coming to me at the end of the pay period on December 31st. My paycheck was less the amount for that 2.5 hours. Being an hourly employee became most evident when I worked an 80 pay period(and even more so in February when there was a 72 hour pay period). Also, the SOW stated very clearly that TMR employees were only allowed to work the allotted hours in the pay period, and NEVER any overtime. 2. Their PTO and Leave policy is ridiculous. You need to fill out a request on paper to take any time off, and they are under the silly assumption that they can actually say no. I had almost 7 hours of "Personal Leave" in my account the day I left. They conveniently don't pay out your personal leave THAT YOU HAVE EARNED when you leave. That would have been nice to know ahead of time, as I would have used it for important family medical appointments during my last 2 weeks. 3. Let me give you a quote verbatim from their HR manual: "You are allotted 3 days of paid bereavement leave to be taken as Personal Leave." My baby boy died 24 days into his short and wonderful life. I had been with the company only 2 weeks. Did I get 3 days to mourn my son and prepare for his funeral? That answer is a loud and resounding NO! I had to telecommute from home for the three days leading up to his funeral, and used the minimal vacation and personal leave hours I had accrued to bury my son. The only words I have for that are despicable and unconscionable. 4. I could go on, but I think these 3 points make it clear that this is a company that you should avoid at all costs.
