The company is hugely micro managed. Scott who's one of the directors is one of the rudest and most intimidating people to work for, he genuinely knows nothing about management, he got given a warm desk and clients and genuinely thinks he's god, there's so much swearing and bullying that goes on in the office and it mainly comes from management unfortunately. Everyday I went to work I had to prepare myself mentally to put on a brave face and act like everything is fine, but inside I felt horrible from 8 till 6, there were days where I'd get home and actually cry, it was that bad, but I needed money and experience, so I had to do what I had to do. Get to work 15 mins early and leave late, or if you're late even 1 min regardless of how many times you're early and how many times you do overtime they'll notice it, but no one notices you leaving late, coz if you left on time they'll mock you for it. Call times are monitored which is absolutely stupid as you can be on the phone all day and do nothing, or not be on the phone at all and get deals in through emails. There's so much politics in that office it's unreal, management gets treated like royalty and staff get treated like dirt, hint why the staff turn over is massive. Even your lunch time isn't yours, if you're on lunch and around they'll ask you to do stuff or ask you about how the work is going etc... Like go away I'm trying to relax for an hour! If they want to keep staff they have to seriously stop with the stupid call monitors, they have to ACTUALLY train staff, 2 years on and I still get upset thinking bout working in that place.
