Pros

The staff you work with on a daily basis are nice

Cons

Upper management useless. Unachievable targets set by "eir direct". Constant issues from "eir direct ", or so synchro tell you. They blame eir for any issue you bring up. Store Managers heavily micro managed by upper management. Eirs customer base are mainly unpleasant. Plenty of abuse from customers on a daily basis. Customer care from direct is shocking and their job is handed over to the sales team in store. Who don't have the resources to help. Synchro stores are never as pleasant as their direct counterparts. For example they don't let employees have a stall to sit on. The direct stores have customer seating and synchro do not etc. All the tech used in store is old and tired. Maintenance issues are a common occurance and rarely get addressed. Stock restrictions that are not applied to direct stores. Making you targets even harder to achieve. My advice stay away.

Pros

You do learn how to run a business

Cons

Nearly too many to count Area managers have no experience and talk to staff like they are children, very much a boys club and bullying of staff seems to be encouraged Expected to be in WhatsApp groups on your personal phone which hop on days off and when on annual leave Often left alone in store and watched by area managers on cctv constantly Excessive targets that are usually unachievable, if you manage to reach a target you can garauntee that they will be raised the next month You are set a target monthly to overcharge customers and are encouraged to do this. There will always be a different higher price than an eir direct store Very little training Any issues with systems or care are blamed on eir direct and synchro have no power
