StudyGate Response
4yHey there, grateful for this feedback, especially the advice to management. In general we are looking for pointy tutors that possess a narrow area of expertise that they can execute on within StudyGate. Once they've proven themselves capable there, we usually open up to other subjects. For more information: https://www.studygate.com/tutor-help-center/faq/tutor-faq/subject-approval/
The 14-day delay is part of our refund policy. It is in place to protect students as well as tutors. Once the question is closed, it doesn't get changed or re-opened for a refund even if the student complains. For more information on the 14 days pending approval window: https://www.studygate.com/refund-policy
In general, we prefer not to get involved with disputes. If the tutor and student are unable to resolve, we will judge answers provided according to the StudyGate refund policy. We also provide content in the tutor help center on how to avoid and resolve disputes: https://www.studygate.com/tutor-help-center/knowledgebase/avoid-disputes/

Grateful for your feedback overall, we will double down on the pros you mentioned and work to make 2022 our best year yet!
