    Pros

Good POTENTIAL earnings. That’s really it.

    Cons

Not enough systems to help understand potential clients. Always the same data coming through the sales line yet no ability to leave notes for the next against who calls so the leads are always cold and most feel as if they’re being harassed. Not a lot of talk around the AdWords product and more around sales psychology which is good however after a while all the meetings are white noise because it’s like a girl on... the internet who just uploads photos of her behind. All hype and nothing real. A company full of hype men because the job is actually mentally taxing with little reward unless you really grind and the lemon isn’t worth the squeeze. Maximum workload however if you don’t understand the system you don’t get great support around the product/tools itself. You can’t be overly self sufficient because there is not a lot to refer to that’s easily accessible. No employee benefits.

    Advice to Management

Overly cut throat, judgemental and plays into favouritism too much. Very toxic unless you’re a robot. Need to have less of a churn and burn system. A company for 14 years should have more than 5-10,000 clients. Minor companies in a less demanding industry being only 5 years old have 300,000 plus clients. The brand does not entirely back what it promises it’s clients because they can’t make any real ones.

    Pros

    - Great place to get your foot in the door for digital marketing - Most people climb the salary ladder fast. - Amazing office space - regular special event days with delicious platters - You'll gain great skills for the future for dealing with heavy workloads, time management, conflict resolution. - team leaders and colleagues are so supportive of each other.

    Cons

    - Clients that come through aren't properly qualified, aren't financially prepared to invest or have just been flat out lied to from the sales team. CM'S have to then spend time re-selling to clients when they should be working on campaigns. - Company is less client focused, and more focused on about how much revenue you can bring in, how much you can upgrade in management fees, and about coming up with any... strategy to stop clients from cancelling or pausing, rather than what is best for their own business. - Not much opportunity to upskill. You either stick to Adwords, SEO or social. - 120 clients and 40 hours of work per week, it is manageabke, but a dam heavy load.

    Pros

Great People only. If these people move on, they are turned into enemies and treated really bad by the management team.

    Cons

I have been here for a long lime and enough is enough. You expect everyone to be treated in a respectful manner and follow the values of the company however they are not followed by the executive management team. There is an executive manager who walks around the office acting like he owns the place. This executive manager does not smile and treats every single employee beneath him. No one in the company knows why... he has been there so long.

    Advice to Management

This company is truly a sinking ship! The CEO himself relies on his executive management team, however they are not truthful themselves, however he unfortunately he takes there word for it. I'm sure this post will be taken off shortly, but its good to know they treat people like they are a revenue making number only, whether your in sales or client management. The revenue keeps falling, the supervisors are... burnt out and leave, they have the biggest employee turnover in history. I know many agencies and employers out there who will not touch SponsoredLinx employees as they believe they are damaged goods. I feel bad that I am overlooked on roles externally and also alot of my colleagues as no employer would touch them. Lets not forget the executive manager who walks around they he owns the place and if he does not like someone, they are removed instantly, and doesn't matter how good you are. Toxic Culture, toxic management. Revenue focused and based on the numbers, the company will not exist much longer. Good luck trying to sell it as you can see no one wants to buy even at a fraction of the price!

    Pros

A few years ago I could list some but now its really only the pool table and table tennis

    Cons

The people who have control over reporting to a "ghost" CEO must blow smoke up his behind for him to not make radical changes in HIS workplace. This company had a lot going for it a few years ago but due to gross mismanagement and top staff not put into correct positions has seen it fall into the heap that it is. The staff in client management are managed on fear and not given adequate training. The sales staff... are given no coaching to better their processes and upper management lose their minds at middle management for under-performance but make no effort to change it. The egos that are in senior management have torn away any open dialogue possible to improve processes because "everything they say is correct and you should listen".... seems as though this is a sinking ship and they are prepared to go down with it. I won't even go into the very little amount of work and effort that goes into clients accounts because client managers are full to the eyeballs with 100+ clients they cant keep up.

    Pros

Nice coworkers, close to restaurant hotspots

    Cons

Once you start hearing about things behind the scenes, and all the crap that’s been covered up, it’s hard to see a reason to keep working for this company. Seeing ppl in upper management (who have no clue what they are doing) kept on, and given promotions, despite their shady behavior and inability to actually do their job, is astounding. The CEO loves to big note how much he ‘cares’ for his staff, and how amazong... their ‘company culture’ is... but the reviews on here will show you that’s all a lie. Dude doesn’t even know the names of staff who’ve been there for 6 months (which, if you even make it that long in the company, is pretty amazing). People come and go on a weekly basis. I’ve seen people who’ve been there years, treated like crap and immediately disowned the moment they express that they are leaving. No ‘thanks for all your hard work,’ or ‘were sorry to see you go.’ They’re just dismissed on the spot. Oh, and anyone who has ever gotten a pay rise knows you only get it by threatening to leave. Hmmm what else. They lie to people in interviews. They go to crazy lengths to try to cover up bad reviews. I’ve seen so many people burnt out and damaged by this company. You can’t trust anyone in upper management.
