Always paid on time. Good potential for progression.

Bad upper management! The recruitment process for managers is shocking, often employing external candidates, that have no knowledge of the coffee industry, over loyal and knowledgeable internal candidates. In my time with this company I have only known of 2 external candidates actually being successful! Alongside the numerous failed managers employed leaving or being dismissed, valued ,skilled and previously loyal members of staff leave! This fatal trait is still ongoing. I honestly find it unbelievable that such a large company have not yet realised the talent they already have !

Pros

Free coffee on shift was about as good as it got for this franchise

Cons

Head office have favourites, so whether they like you or not depends on whether they treat you equally. Everyone has glorified titles in head office yet fail to actually understand their job role. Managers can bully staff and head office turn a blind eye….would highly avoid this company at all costs. Staff turnover was unbelievable, maybe they need to look into why! Some shifts could be from 6am to 7pm. Constantly hassled on days off by managers to cover your own and other stores.
