Pros

I cannot think of one

Cons

Toxic, blame-driven culture that quickly revealed itself to stem from the Managing Director’s attitude and fondness for gossip. Outdated technology that, in many cases, made even basic day-to-day tasks unnecessarily difficult. A heavy-handed AI push for its own sake, lacking clear strategy or direction. Uncompetitive pay and a derisory pension offering.

Pros

What accounts you are on can really impact your working life. Could work from home

Cons

Burnout, unrealistic workload. No flexibility, even if that was for medical appointments. Relucent to give team members holiday days even with lots of notice or for short trips

Pros

Sciterion is a top med comms agency that is seeing a lot of growth in recent times. Having worked here for over a year now,it’s been all green flags so far!! I really do appreciate my team and the support that has been given to me in order to grow in my role. The work environment is always positive, even when working through stressful periods. Asking for help/support is not frowned upon. When you make mistakes, the team and senior leadership are always considerate and caring and they really do want you to see you grow in your role. There are so many hardworking and caring individuals working here that I feel blessed to be part of this amazing agency.

Cons

There are always waves of busy and stressful periods, especially at the end of a project timeline or when nearing an event. This is usually the norm in MedComms, and sometimes, working late may be required in order to meet hard client deadlines, but the team always tries their best to avoid this, and TOIL time is possible. Most of the learning and training is hands-on, which may not be ideal for some people. But this isn’t a major issue as long as you remain proactive and flag what you require in your professional development. Even though Sciterion is part of Havas, I do feel like we are often excluded and not integrated well enough between Havas Life London, especially in company meetings.
