Pros

No prior experience needed for this position but great language skills is a huge plus, depending on the product type.

Cons

The pay is quite low for freshmens, but they do welcome old blood due to the limited amount of candidates in related fields and the pay will be better. Promotions are rarely based on performance but more about seniority. You shouldn't expect to be promoted in less than 5y locked in.

Pros

In recent years, a new chairman has been appointed, actively acquiring companies in Finland, Denmark, and other locations to expand the global footprint. The benefits in Kaohsiung are quite good, and the salary is also decent. The company's system is well-established, and there is a growing emphasis on issues like workplace bullying and sexual harassment. It is expected that a new building will be completed by 2027.

Cons

The supervisors mostly have old-fashioned mindsets, which are completely opposite to the "day one" philosophy that the chairman hopes to promote. They only want subordinates to speak and act in line with their instructions, without any opposing opinions or personal thoughts. Information is not readily shared, and even within the same department, subordinates are not kept informed. They use information to create advantages for themselves, making higher-ups believe they are highly capable. Although the company has flexible working hours, supervisors usually do not allow this, making it almost nonexistent. They micromanage trivial and unimportant matters, but when it comes to significant decisions, they tend to be silent and hide away, lacking the courage to take responsibility.
