Pros

I can’t think of any

Cons

Low pay: Not financially realistic for anyone other than college students. There are about 10 servers that have been there for quite a while & will always get the sections with 4 top-6 top tables. There is zero chance they will ever (didn’t for my few months working there) have a section with 2 top tables. Those sections are reserved for anyone newer than those servers. While they make on average 300-400 a shift, you will make around 70-150. Would only recommend if you are okay not making much money, because that is what they are looking for—servers who are gladly willing to take the tables that nobody else wants, and never raise a concern about it. Toxic environment— management is extremely uptight and unprofessional. They will not have a mature conversation with you, but instead reprimand you disrespectfully for something that they will then turn around and do themselves. In addition, one manager will yell at you for doing something one way, and then a different manager will yell at you for doing it the way the other manager told you to do it. You can’t win. Not all, but the majority of servers are rude. Some are more concerned with your performance than their own. To echo another reviewer— the “see it, say it” policy just makes it easy for vindictive servers to ostracize you. In summary, probably won’t be a good fit if you’re not a pushover.

Pros

None at all. I'm still in shock about these people.

Cons

What kind of place hires you, does all the onboarding, expects you to put in your two weeks at your previous gig, only to fire you on day 2 of training with zero explanation? I was really excited to work here. Now my entire life has crashed and I have no clue what I did wrong, despite asking for feedback. No one should patronize a place that treats people this way. And $500 in severance in LOS ANGELES is a JOKE.

Pros

The position offered generous tips, respectful and kind customers, and a collaborative atmosphere fostered by exceptionally friendly coworkers.

Cons

General manager was challenging to work with due to abrasive communication style and lack of warmth.
