Pros

+There is a pocket of good people, unfortunately these are the same people that get taken advantage of. The only pro out of this is they are people you can vent to when the other 98% of the place is out to get you +offices location and fit out, however not practical. Where's my promised bonus, oh it's buried in the millions of dollars it cost to refit (multiple times) this place because a principal or director can't plan or make a decision +if you believe the spin, and you are a gullible idiot (like believing these 5 star reviews) EVERYTHING IS A PRO!

Cons

-impossible to get anything done, if you are a cost centre, welcome to your worst nightmare. You don't auto become Steve Jobs successful by just barking buzzwords at people. If you at least said "I'm dreaming of a Rolls Royce that doesn't exist, go build 5 different versions while I chop both your arms off, and give you zero budget to do it" I'd have 1 layer less ambiguity, and probably never have wasted my time writing my tax file number of the ATO form when joining. -silos, silos as far as the eye can see. Think the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing...? The left hands pinky doesn't know it is attached to a hand, he'll it doesn't know it has a knuckle. -so about that promotion/bonus/review/extra work you did and I promised it was going to be rewarded...? Nope, go have a "free" Tim Tam -what's the sound directors/principals make? flip flop, flip flop, flip flop -think your boss is in charge of the department? Nope, the other 15 principals are, and whoever groans the loudest will get their way. -want a T&E budget to do something nice in your team? Bahahaha, nope! This is the home of nickel and dime.

Pros

- Exposure to interesting projects - Great people - Good soft benefits (i.e., well stocked kitchen)

Cons

- A well-established ‘Long Hours Hero’ culture that is juvenile and unsustainable. It will only continue to maintain the high turnover of talented staff - A bonus scheme that is unfair and, in my experiences, below industry standard - Ad hoc project scope resulting in almost certain scope creep - Project managers plan to keep employees back late prior to commencing a project - A business development culture that too often centres around making money off clients, rather than making money for clients - Take any Glassdoor five start rating with a grain of salt as they are most likely written by Directors/Principals/HR with strong intentions of making the company appearing as an attractive place to work at. This opinion is not wide spread, particularly amongst the troops at the front line who are grinding out the work and only take home a small fraction of their overly inflated charge out rates

Good culture let down by poor management

Pros

Let me start out by saying that the 99% of people that work here are great. I'm talking about about all levels. The view is also amazing, as is the office fitout. I love coming to work every day as this building is amazing! There are definitely perks too, with free food and drink available. I've also been privileged to work on some cutting edge data lead work with clients and love to see the real benefits of our data insights.

Cons

- There are definitely empire builders in operation with definite examples of sneaky back stabbing. - The CEO claimed those that post on Glassdoor are "gutless keyboard warriors" and advocates transparency. Do you guys really expect us to speak up without their being repercussions? - Loads of people who are unqualified in the wrong positions simply because they've been at Quantium for years and years. - There is a flat organisational structure with no titles in place for everyone except senior management. - Nobody at senior management level seems to like processes of any sort even if they've been proven to be beneficial.
