Pros
Some of the best colleagues I've ever worked with - most have since left A good foot in the door for new recruiters - whilst there is no structured training in place, your line manager does support you in your role as best they can with the time and resources they are given. Good to gain some experience, but there are much better agencies out there. Systems are pretty good but their CRM software is apparently barely understood due to the original developer leaving, has clearly become a time sink for the IT team.
Cons
Outdated Recruitment model, very old guard type style of recruitment. No HR. Inconsistent salaries & commission structure. Commission structure is poorly implemented and penalises more than it rewards. No clear progression or structured training plans, you learn most of it on the job shadowing. Senior management team has a clique culture, elitist at times. Only certain people can get away with leaving on time without being frowned upon. High turnover of staff. Little transparency in operations opening up back office politics and the so called 'rumour mill' which are often proliferated by certain members of senior management.
