Pros

You get a salary. So you can stay there while you are looking for another job.

Cons

Bad quality of product, no formerly specifications. Even the managers don't know what a specification is. Software manager is not able to find the keys in the keyboard... so just imagine the knowledge about software in this company. Company had an internal policy of not paying by software, and one day the police arrived because they were sued by the Business Software Alliance, and they inspected all the PCs and the software installed there. 2 days later, they forced their employees to sign a letter making them responsible of that situation (oh, yes, I've installed Windows, Office, CAD sw by my own LOL ). If you refused to sign that document, you were fired. Taking this in mind, you can imagine what kind of company Power Electronics is

Pros

med benefits are very good, pay is okay another plus is its salary

Cons

No communication, zero training , Spanish is the main language of this company if you don't know Spanish you should quit now. they make the job way more difficult then it needs to be. simple things like getting material from stock is a long drawn out unnecessary process and its like that for everything. "At least at the site I'm at" there is not one licensed electrician and most of the people I met have little to no electrical experience I had multiple times where I felt my life or well being was in danger. the inverters they make are crap and blow up on a weekly basis be sure your not near one if it does blow up cause you'll get blamed and even fired even if you had nothing to do with it. getting money owed to you for working Saturdays is also a process and usually you wont get it the next pay check and have to keep requesting your pay in order to get money they owe you. I saw a guy work on the weekends at the Forman's request and then when he tried to get his money for it they wrote him up cause he wasn't on the schedule I don't know if he ever got his money.
