      Horrible place to work. Pay is crap compared to other companies.

      Pros

      They allow toilet breaks and there is free tea and coffee. There is not many positives apart from that.

      Cons

      Management is awful. Treatment of staff is awful. Compensation for the years of service is subpar. Strong DEI culture means more suitable candidates for positions get over looked to fill a quota. Men in the company are essentially treated as dirt. They advertise jobs with a list of essential requirements and give the job to someone with none or very few of the requirements that were advertised and discussed. Overall an abysmal place to work.

      Pros

      One of the original biopharmas in Ireland. 20 years plus in this field. Easy to join as they can't get staff.

      Cons

      60hr weeks every second week as standard. Your health will suffer here. Both physical and mental. Zero work life balance with 12hr shifts on both days and nights. Very untrustworthy management in general. Absolutely zero respect for people or their families. HR is so out of touch it's almost funny. Arrogant and nasty is their general demeanour. I could not recommend Pfizer as a place of work if you have any respect for yourself or others. If you want to progress your career this is not the place. It'll do as a dead end job or stop gap but be aware salaries are well below market average. If you are a sociopath you will thrive, the place is full of them.

      Pay lacks behind other industry leaders Failure to hold middle management accountable Many middle managers are simply rude, this is not addressed even if brought up. safety culture is a myth, they just want the work done, if you raise safety issues they will push blame back on operators and then punish you in other ways for bringing these up.
