Onsite: While the requirement to go to the office daily can be tiring, the positive aspect is that the management is open to discussing special needs. I have been granted the flexibility to work from home occasionally, so it's not overly rigid. Like a school: In addition, punctuality is highly emphasized, resulting in attendance and time tracking similar to a school environment. Personally, this aspect is not my preference. However, if you have specific requirements, your manager will be supportive and accommodating. All in all, the team is made up of human beings as well. Share your issues and everyone can work together to come to a compromise. Not fast paced, but erratic. Double edged sword. Because we have a reactive team, agile decisions are made ad hoc. Sometimes, decisions can go a whole 180 and we're back to where we started. It's a common problem everywhere when you have passionate people in the field trying to achieve the best outcome, but sometimes all we need is a solid structure. There may be instances where you are tasked with things that has no relation to your scope. If you have a positive mentality and outlook, and understands the context behind why certain decisions are made, you'll enjoy this pace. Also, you'll be rewarded heavily. It's these erratic decisions that we make together as a team on a whim at light speed that helped us see such significant growth for the company. Again, it's a double edged sword. You either are a true talent, or you're an average joe. Come discover yourself at PHS.
