      The educators who stay for the kids

      Cons

      Head office are well paid and take lovely trips with business expenses. The centre is run down no real budget and no resources for the children head office only care about paperwork and ratings and assessments. Which is so very sad as it has tremendous potential. Hours are horrendous average 9.5 hours a day

      Pros

      One Tree does have experience running centres in remote locations.

      Cons

      Lack of support. Very unrealistic expectations and unwilling to negotiate. Area managers and head office do not seem to have a real idea of the work the people on the ground have to do.

      Great benefits for staff and lost of support

      Cons

      Not for profit means you do a lot of different tasks, sometimes outside of your job description - but the impact you make is huge. It's worth it.
