Pros

My immediate supervisor was fantastic, and I liked the personal interaction with the public.

Cons

The company doesn't appreciate its employees, not very health and safety oriented, not a good compensation package, management doesn't communicate well with employees. Moral was low, supervisor was condescending and not open to communication or ideas.

Pros

Employee discount if you like the clothes other then that none this company has gone down hill

Cons

* The company doesn't appreciate its employees * Not very health and safety oriented * You will work alone many times * They will make you do lay outs in your store you will be very high up on ladders and it is not safe and they really do not care they just want it done. * Several lay outs in a month including moving hard ware, so a few a week which is ridiculous when you have budgets and customers to focus on * Head office loves to communicate with the stores in CAPS when they are not happy!! * Min wage pay for sales associates you will earn every nickel they pay you not only are they cheap you will work your ass off * Managers salary.... work load does not commensurate with salary and you too will earn every nickel they pay you. * Stores are given budgeted hours that head office dictates and it is never enough * It is ridiculous the hours that are given to each store to operate on * Since the work load is heavy and the budgeted hours are not enough you will work many hours for free in order to get everything that they expect done * All staff is expected to be a brand ambassador whether you like the clothes or not and yes you will have to buy them at an employee discount of course which could be better and all this on min wage.... * Stores are getting old and run down and when they do renovate it is more of a refresher then a reno

Pros

Good discount Easy clientele Generally low stress Could be a pro or con but the clothing sizes are very generous, good for the ego when you normally wear a M or L and you fit S and XS. Impossible to find clothes if you are normally a S or XS or under size 10.

Cons

Very old school ie everything is still on paper Schedules only a week at a time Low pay Requires sick notes for even 1 day out unless you get your shift covered Minimal training Management very nitpicky to a fault Only ever got negative feedback Very low sales targets, and just starting to attempt to modernize Very old demographic, ie 60 year Olds buying clothes for their elderly parents and being open about not wanting to shop there themselves ever. Doesn't seem sustainable.
