Pros

AI Projects: The company is right at the center of the AI industry, because the size of company is small, I can be deeply involved in some AI projects, and skills I’m picking up here are relevant, help me with the next job. Creative environment: I’m surrounded by people with all kinds of tech expertise—front-end, back-end, algorithms. Even though the team is small, it’s really well-rounded, and I am impressed by some rolled out products. Supportive Culture: Most people here are open and easy to talk to, which makes it a great place to collaborate. Plus, the company partners with professors on research, so we get to learn from some top minds in the field. Work-Life Balance: Even though it’s a startup, there’s none of that intense push you usually hear about, everybody go home before 6 pm, so it’s actually possible to have a life outside of work.

Cons

High Competition in the AI Sector: Working in a startup within such a competitive field brings challenges, people do come and go fairly often. There have been some complaints about visa issues, which might be worth considering if that’s something you’d need support with.

Pros

Definitely no pros, just an option if you’re seeking a job or can’t find a better one at the moment

Cons

1. Toxic Culture: The company advertises itself as an international organization, but the reality is far from it. The workplace is dominated by Chinese employees, with most meetings and communication done in Mandarin and Chinese media. There is no diversity, despite their outward claims of being global. 2. Minimal Pay: The pay for us is nothing more than minimum wage, which feels like a scam. They lure recent graduates with promises of visa sponsorship after the internship period, but in reality, they either extend another contract without any visa update or, worse, cut you off and hire another intern to exploit cheap labor. 3. Lack of Mentorship and Management: There is no proper mentorship, no structured management, and absolutely no coherent marketing or managerial strategies. Product development is haphazard, with decisions made arbitrarily by leadership, and you’re not allowed to challenge the bosses even when their demands are absurd. The focus isn’t on generating profit or building meaningful products—they rely heavily on ChatGPT and OpenAI APIs, pretending to be an AI research company. Their so-called “research” are ridiculous, fake, and lack technical strategies. No one teaches you anything, and instead, you’re constantly told to “just ask ChatGPT” for guidance. Shockingly, even critical decisions are made by asking ChatGPT. 4. Work-Life Balance: There’s virtually no work-life balance. The HR closely monitors when you arrive at the office, but the boss is rarely present, and it’s unclear what they’re actually doing. They don’t manage the teams or care about the product, yet somehow act as though they’re extremely busy. Despite all this, they’ve also eliminated the option to work remotely for most employees.
