Pros
- Small control from managers. - High salary. - You can take vacation or sick leave whenever you want.
Cons
- There is no general mission, today you are doing one thing but tomorrow you can switch to another one without finishing your old stuff. - No best practices for developing, mostly guys write ugly and not testable code. - When company has some financial issues you might be laid off even without paying. Like it was recently they did't pay to their former employees ~30 people including me and they did't even apologize for that.
