Pros

Ok PTO and that’s about it

Cons

First stay away from any 3PLor broker unless you need to get experience. No job security because manufacturers will resign with someone else. I was on the LG home appliances team. You’re there to train associates, clean appliances, move appliances reset appliances unbox appliances very dirty work. The starting pay was $19-$21 full-time. You work Tuesday through Saturday or Monday through Friday. You work all major holidays and weekends and they give you a comp day while the rest of company is off. So unfair. Work directly if you can for the manufacturer to get the best pay and benefits. You are highly micromanaged, trackers in you, KPI’s are unattainable no discussion on contracts status and managers and regional managers are feckless in standing up to LG and doing the right thing they will never have your back regardless of experience or what you have done.. We have individuals on our team in Atlanta that could hardly write a sentence and was literally illiterate and was hired and is still employed making the rest of the team look bad, but nothing was said because a DEI. Twelve people within six months were either fired or quit because of the politics and micromanaging with this company. I would stay clear from Marketsource or any other third party labor…3PL or broker.

Pros

Some decent learning opportunities. Quiet, low-stress work environment

Cons

I worked for Marketsource, formerly Salelytics, for about 6 months. When I was hired, the employment terms were clearly defined: full-time schedule (40 hours/week), paid holidays, and 20 days of PTO (paid time off). After working there for a few months, we had our first paid holiday. My paycheck did not include this paid holiday. I was not paid for it. I realized this when looking at my paycheck. I inquired about it to my manager, and I was informed that I actually don't get paid holidays. I was told that if I want to get paid for a holiday, I have to use PTO. I was the only person in my office working under these terms. As Christmas approached, I decided to use my PTO for a vacation of about 11 days. I requested the PTO, and it was approved by my manager. As I was on my vacation and checking my bank account, I didn't see any deposits for my PTO. I emailed my manager. First he told me that I never requested it. I followed all protocol when asking for the PTO. I remember because I didn't know how to ask for PTO and one of my coworkers had to show me. I also personally spoke with my manager to confirm that it was ok tot take that many days of vacation in a row. After my manager checked with HR, he told me that because I was a contracted, temporary worker, I didn't actually get PTO. I asked why I was not informed of this when I got hired, nor later when I asked for PTO and it was explicitly approved. My manager said he was unaware of it. When I returned from my UNPAID vacation, I told them that this is not what I signed up for, and I did not return to work. The entire employment proposal I was given when hired was a lie. Additionally, they told me they offer health insurance. After I got hired and saw the insurance options, I decided not to get it because it would have cost about 1/4 of my monthly salary. In conclusion, this company completely sucks. Their employment offer was a lie. Don't work for them. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and unorganized. They were dishonest during the hiring process and made no effort to apologize or correct their poor management. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

Pros

The job takes place in the tech section of Target stores, your shirt will say target and most guests will assume you work for Target. The main parts of the job are helping people with their tech questions, helping set up prepaid phones, helping older folks and pitching protection plans at checkout. My manager in Northern VA was great and very supportive and available. If you don't like working with older folks then I won't recommend this job, but I rarely had a bad experience with them.

Cons

Boring when there's no guests Commission is pretty terrible
