If you have another option, take the other option
Pros
Good, young, friendly staff. You end up making good friends with some great people but only because people band together in bad situations.
Cons
The salary is low, their is a big lack of transparency to basic HR elements such as pay slips, sick leave, annual leave etc. If you want to take annual leave you have to give an indepth explanation and find your own cover. The work week includes Saturdays, which is too much since the pay is so low and especially considering that there's no appreciation, respect or any politeness from management. When you start working for Intech you're expected to do an unpaid trial week and have to chase the manager to be compensated for lunch and travel. Things will only get worse from here. The management is rude, ungrateful and talks down to staff like they are stupid. They hire young people with little experience on purpose, as no experienced person would settle for their crappy jobs and then expect them to deliver results as if they're highly trained, and payed, professionals. If staff don't deliver then they can expect to be talked down to/yelled at/belittled in front of everyone. In the time I worked there I saw several people in tears because of such treatment. At the same time if you do bring good results you'll get a fist bump, that's it. Ideas like bonuses, raises and team rewards are nonexistent because all the management cares about is making money by cutting corners. Staff turnover is very high because most people decide the job isn't worth it long term. Seriously, if you have any other options for work, take them. This place is not worth it.
