Communication very poor and very confused in market - arrogance versus an real market awareness - senior managers need training - they need to have in house install teams - not sub trades - no concern for end product just get the sale

Pros

HR is well run. The president is a smart guy who is adding value to the direction of the company.

Cons

The executive team is distant from the daily activities and makes sizable mistakes frequently. (Poor planning of large internal projects, Improper staffing, botched organizational changes are some of the recent ones. ) The executive position seems to be that if only the middle management would manage better, the problems would go away -- when in fact -- they are causing more harm than the employees. For a company that prides itself on meeting quality, internal meetings are a mess. The technology never works. Too many or too few people are invited to meetings, agenda's are flimsy; meetings are too long; they lack facilitation and nobody takes notes. There are WAY too many meetings that bear little or no fruit. Company values are questionable. Employees are overworked and the management position is hardcore: "if you don't like it leave." Services & products are sold that the the company is not in a respectable position to deliver on, which causes satisfaction issues in multiple areas of the business. Good employee morale is not taken seriously. The focus is on sales and employee productivity. Management-Employee Clique's often cause senior management to make improper decisions that do not take into consideration a clear understanding of all the fundamentals. The parking lot is probably the heaviest used "Meeting Room." The CEO is usually arrogant and often ignorant of how his business is run. Not a good combination by any standard. Employees are not trusted by the CEO. Cameras are all over the building, some communication is monitored. Performance reviews and raises are a mess company wide. Promises of an increase are always made but never kept. Parking sucks.

Pros

Yearly company picnic, holiday party, most of your co-workers are hard working down to earth people.

Cons

President is outdated with his thinking and the CEO is too busy flaunting his wealth or on his boat or out east at his summer home to really be present or care about his workers.
