Old wine in new barrels

Pros

- You'll get your salary on time - The only communication and care of the people is happening through the hallways and the workers council - people are still helping each other and sticking together like the old Wirecard spirit - you can work from home as much as you want

Cons

The old (corrupt) management of Wirecard ist mostly still there and their familiars are the chosen ones. While Santander in spain is clueless and not caring about what is happening in munich, positioning, bullying and bossing is ongoing. The hope in Santander/PagoNxt/GetNet management got very little now, more then four weeks since closing and the same politics as always are ongoing.

Pros

Despite what other reviews state, remaining Wirecard management is not corrupt. Prosecutors did a good job, if there were any suspicion they would be gone. They made huge effort to save the healthy parts of Wirecard and providing future for about 500 ppl. Also, Santander and GetNet is providing good international opportunities, market growth, and new horizons to expand. Busy, exciting ,challenging and interesting times are ahead. Still, work at home is possible, work life balance is good. Colleagues are team players, go-getters, and very professional with good industry and fin-tech experience.

Cons

The Munich team is essentially a new company. It is going through the stages needed to reform themselves to the new situation. It comes with its own pains, and with some left disgruntled. Our previous and current work council is immature and inexperienced, unfortunately. Comes with the change I guess, however they rarely help in any situation. I expect this to change in the future.
