This firm is not what you think! read this before you apply!
Pros
~Met some interesting and kind people from there! ~Co- founders where kind enough to call us in person and share us the situation. ~They have a great goal and they are trying to bring in a great culture , but the execution and organisational structure all need to be reorganized.
Cons
~ HR says it's compulsory to give glass door review after you join their firm. (First time seeing this, even if you want to promote your firm, don't make it stress on employees, you give them an option, if they want they can or else not) ~ The glass door review and atmosphere in workspace doesn't match, its over hyped for sure. ~ I switched my job from an decent and well Organised firm, looking in to their reviews and small background check with their current employees ( linkedin), and after 20 days, I got laid off including all new recruits. ~ Personally for me, I lost my decent job I had before and the new job they offered! ~ The way HR dealt the situation was similar like executioners, they clearly don't know how to act when this type of lay offs happens or how to treat employees who are effected.. (Lack of experience) ~ As per the employment agreement, we need to get 1 month notice period and salary... They told us on EOD that this is your last day and salary will be only given till this date. ~ When we asked, they said they can't do that, ( may be they went totally dry on their cash, but clearly not admissible, as an employee who literally left all their previous connections, relocated to the recommended place, started WFO, by investing alot of our money on that place for long term stay, atleast for 3 months, suddenly loses job, and they can only pay 20days salary?! Then what's the point in mentioning in employment agreement about one month notice period?! As a firm who have been in business for nearly 6+ years, this can't be accepted on anyways..) ~ I thought there's no point in reviewing and all, but then I realised its my duty to let my fellow colleagues out there to know, the situation that I and my team mates faced, ( Mistakes needs to be criticised no matter what, especially when they are over hyped with the reviews, and it will be a great move for them to upgrade on future) ~ If there's any more updates on this regards in future, I'll keep you guys posted ~ Iam devastated with this experience, I will defenitely suggest you do your background study before joining!
