Pros

Talented, kind people Work/life balance was acceptable

Cons

- Overly fake, everything is positive attitude is tiring - Poor inter-department communication. Everything was done via Slack. - Constant interruptions degraded focus - Technically illiterate product managers hold too much power in regard to team management - Transparency is promised but never delivered. Zip started a Sezzle purchase then laid of 20% of their workforce to appease the shareholders

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. The opinions of our current and former Zipsters really matter to us, as we're always looking to improve the experience for our global team. While we love to hear you enjoyed working with some amazingly talented people during your time here, we’re sorry to hear that other aspects of your experience didn’t live up to expectations. We pride ourselves on our open and transparent culture. As you know, the external market has changed rapidly, which meant making changes to the team and re-thinking the way we work. So while we unfortunately said goodbye to a small percentage of our workforce, we’re now set up for more sustainable growth and success going forward. To your point on communication, providing an environment where our Zipsters can do their best work is something that’s really important to us. As well as our fortnightly All Hands calls and regular Exec updates, we have a brand new intranet platform to provide everyone with the information they need, when they need it, and remove distractions throughout the workday. If you'd like to continue a conversation, please reach out to people@zip.co and we’ll set up a confidential chat. Annie, People Partner ANZ
