Is this your company?

Everything you hear about this industry being not so great, is pretty much true. - Retail Associate Manager Wireless Vision Employee Review

Pros

Potential to make some great friends. Helps develop customer service skills for positions greater than this company provides.

Cons

Completely blind and deaf from top to bottom when it comes to leadership. Managers, District managers, Regional managers, corprate auditors, everyone in a high position here completely disregards anything close to a united front. Every store and manager is its own micro-chasm of different rules, cultures and procedures. Nothing is standardized, managers are incentivized to keep their staff from taking time off, adding features onto accounts without the customer knowing, and employing tricks to make things appear better revenue-wise than they actually are.

Pros

Decent pay and commission opportunities, especially early on Good training at the beginning Some district managers genuinely cared about their teams and tried to do the right thing Opportunities to move up if you aligned with leadership expectations

Cons

Store employees are often treated poorly and seen as disposable Toxic culture that prioritizes numbers over integrity Widespread unethical sales practices in many locations, including slamming customer accounts with features or lines they did not request or understand Store managers engaging in deceptive behavior were often rewarded with recognition, bonuses, and trips Honest employees were at a disadvantage compared to those willing to cut corners Inconsistent leadership: district managers were either excellent or extremely ineffective, with no middle ground High stress, high pressure environment with little accountability at the top
