Pros
Wonderful management, wonderful people, great work/life balance, amazing benefits, awesome training, yummy cafeteria food! Management really looks to promote you - they want you to be moving up to another position after a year and a half - sooner if you prove yourself. If you work hard, you will be rewarded. Not to mention, the free Disney trip for outstanding workers is an amazing incentive to work towards.
Cons
Call Center is isolating (I barely ever got to talk with my co-workers) and I felt very much alone, even though teamwork is emphasized. VERY structured - points are counted against you if you go to the bathroom not on your scheduled break time. I was also encouraged to use my personal break times for work - which is not right. You begin to feel like quality is always breathing down your neck and telling you what you have done wrong on your calls. The new system/scale for grading is extremely harsh. Extremely busy. I took probably around 200 calls a day - the phones are always ringing off the hook. This job is not for the faint of heart. It is repetitive, yes, but can be soul crushing. Most people do not decide to stay in the call center - it's viewed more as a stepping stone to a better position.
