Pros

Pay was decent. My coworkers and direct managers were great.

Cons

Joined pre-covid. We worked on site. All meetings were in zoom because size of company and even just the size of the HQ. We were literally running out of office space and about to start desk swaps and remote work. Then COVID hit. CEO and board were suddenly all pro remote work (of course - have to keep the business running!). Everyone busted their behind and productivity even went up during this time. COVID ends. Suddenly they are implementing an RTO 4x days a week policy if you live within a 60 mile radius of an office building bc "culture". This was clearly bull and they just wanted people to quit to avoid paying severance to all the people they overhired and signed a contract with to pay severance. My opinion, not fact - but hard to dispute. Their core values are supposedly "Honor/Integrity" etc. Top management clearly has none and a bunch of slimy pretenders. They just secretly moved HQ out of San Antonio as well for what I assume are tax purposes. Company definitely won't be around for another 100 years. Steer clear if you have other options.

Pros

Life work balance, great benefit package and nice colleagues. The goal of the company is providing the best service to its members. So, they treat employees the best to encourage them to do the same for members.

Cons

Slow IT support, limited interactions with industry. Banking business is not as mature as insurance.
