Pros
-meals and drinks on break with only 2.00 off every pay cheque ( really good meal plan!!) -some regular customers were amazing! - friendly people easy to make friends with -good team work environment -the manager who hired me and I had the honour of working beside was absolutely wonderful and went out of her way to help me out if i had questions or needed time off for school or cultural events plus she was understanding, listened to you, and was well organized! -the training was pretty good when I started working there -flexible hours -asking for time off is easy! - great job to gain a little extra money - you get feedback on how you are doing as an individual (personally I really loved hearing feedback on how i could improve and what I was doing perfectly!)
Cons
-high turnover of people -change in management they took away my old manager and replaced her with one who was mean, demeaning, hot tempered, rude, and NEVER listened. ( one of the major reasons why many of the part and full time staff quit) - the uniform material was not very comfortable to work in (too tight, didn't stretch, wasn't very breathable during summer heat waves) -(not really a con if you know how to work) fast pace environment with many steps you need to ensure consistency -sometimes you have to deal with rude customers - just like anywhere that deals with general public so in turn there is no way to avoid it.
