Pros
As a team leader you get every other weekend off. If you are able to select your GSAs (managers just below you) you are able to have a good supporting team to help you mange the front end of the store. You are given full time status, which comes with earned sick, personal, and vacation time.
Cons
For the store I manage, not a high volume store, I am in charge of about 30 team members including the GSA team. For the task of managing 30 team members, developing them, training them, keeping guests happy, solving issues, setting planograms, and helping the store to reach both financial goals and red card goals, I am grossly underpaid.
