Pros

Employees are all pretty nice, everyone is doing the best they can given what seems like a never ending snowball of merchandise and employee turnover. Benefits are pretty great for a part time position, including free college education which was a major draw for me. Pay is fine considering the ridiculous national minimum wage, but not really a living wage by any standards when the state of the economy is actually taken into account.

Cons

Understaffed. Expectations for managers are unrealistic and, consequently, trickle down to unrealistic expectations for team members. Corporate objectives are out-of-sync with reality. Management could have more time to train and develop more team members if there were simply more bodies in the building to get the work done. It's a horrible megalithic corporation, but the evil is woven into every fiber of our society, so what is one to do?

Pros

If you are looking for a job that you’ll be a part of a fun team environment, have the ability to learn all about customer “guest” service, retail operations and sales, as well as merchandising even at entry level great opportunity. for such a large corporation I have been pleasantly surprised by how tight knit teams are. applying was okay, there were multiple steps (videos, assessments) but overall not too bad)., phone call and then video questions before hiring.

Cons

Pay isn’t great, but for the market it’s fair. Moving up involves a much larger increase in responsibilities and workload relative to the pay increase.
