Pros
Work from home is convenient. Pay was higher than Leapforce and Appen for my state.
Cons
I've worked a few ad rater jobs and I thought Telus would be different. I was wrong. After getting accepted rather quickly and carving out time for my exam (the study materials are 170 pages long and you have one week to complete the test) I was happy to pass. Then I was told they hired me by mistake. They still haven't given me an explanation of how they hired me by mistake. They make you sign away a lot of your privacy which is super scary especially to then be told you're not working for them. They assured me they have removed me from the system but I don't know that I trust that. If you can "accidentally" hire someone I'd think you could "accidentally" forgot to wipe their info from your system, too. I'm not very skeptical of Telus and its motives.
