Pros

Your external partners are hard working, get an idea of what it takes to work in the field. Pay is pretty good for the work you do!

Cons

The management is awful. None of them could hold a conversation for 2 minutes about employee benefits and or about what we actually do on a day to day basis. The turnover rate is very significant and the office is dead silent to be considered a sales desk. There's no motivation across the board even after many employees have pleaded for some sort of 'competition' to be held on the desk. Managers are comfortable in their position now that the initial 50 people hired have quit, and they've hired much lower level employees to fill a role with zero potential to move up, regardless of what they say.

Pros

Sun Life provides competitive benefits, remote work opportunities, and the chance to work alongside knowledgeable professionals. The company offers strong learning opportunities within the disability and leave management space.

Cons

Staffing reductions and increasing workloads have made it difficult for some teams to maintain service levels while preserving employee well-being. Leadership communication and support can vary by department.
