Pros
-Solid overall comp and benefits -(Mostly) engaged co-workers -Name recognition; career and resume builder
Cons
-Fear-based culture rooted in baffling performance/leveling/comp processes -Limited concern or thought for employee well-being -Overly rewards new production to the detriment of basic maintenance, operations, or process functions; there's a lot internally that's just a huge jumble of mess, that will never see prioritized attention -Never saw much of families, care-takers, parents, even people with any passions outside of work really thriving there. Stripe is truly a great environment for rigorously Type A people who are singularly ambitious about their career and their work, but I'd warn that anyone who falls outside of that norm isn't going to face a welcoming environment, regardless of performance, reviews, impact.
