Pros
The pay was just enough to keep you there because it was so hard to match something that matched it and provided the health, dental and vision benefits. I hate to say it, but we did have it made in terms of that. Scheduling, at the end, wasn't bad at all. I worked here for three years and can honestly say it was quite different from the typical sales environment schedule.
Cons
I'd like to start with this company went from open to closed forever in the span of an hour... if that doesn't say something, I have no idea what will. Management... absolutely clueless from the top down. You simply cannot explain how, I hate to say it, braindead, they truly were. Expectations were ridiculous to earn bonuses, and bonuses were piddly garbage for what you had to endure to get them. This company was a huge scam, and the people coming in for their appointments were quickly starting to see it. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy under the guise they were going to attempt to save the company, and then bailed at the first out given. They understood that the company practiced unsafe dental practices and did more harm than good to the people it took in for "care." If you can even call it that. Sure, some of the people here say the management was dedicated to the mission, and that's a "pro" to some people... I just can't see how it is considering they were aware of what they were doing, and chose to reap the benefits of the salary and the easily obtained bonuses instead of standing up for what was right. As a person who sold this product and now feels horrible for doing so, I am surprised more of the people who worked here don't feel the same way. In typical corporate fashion, when a company is overvalued for literally no reason, despite all of the CLEARLY EVIDENT PROBLEMS... this company has fallen apart and left their customers holding the bag. Favortism and nepotism were rampant and a massive issue here as well, if you didn't fall into the clique or lick the heels of upper management you had no chance of going anywhere, you'd often find yourself stagnating, hear this pretty often, right? Ohhhh, and don't forget the dental offices they've left holding the bag with the mar to their reputation because of this company's shoddy business practices...
