It’s hard to figure out who’s doing what because the roles are all jumbled up. The company is so fixated on chasing new business models that they’ve stopped putting money into their core operations. Plus, all the innovation seems to be centered around European regulations only.

Silo-strategy, with departments and sectors setup as segregated, causes reactionary decision making rather than smart proactive progression in improvement initiative buy-in. Inter-departmental LEAN thinking can be challenging.
