The reality on the ground does not match the external employer brand. Headcount has not kept pace with business growth, and the people left behind are expected to absorb the gap silently. Workloads that should be distributed across teams are routinely carried by individuals, with no meaningful acknowledgment from HR leadership. When employees raise concerns about capacity, the response is either a reframing exercise or a promise of future hiring that never materialises. In the meantime, deadlines don’t move, expectations don’t shrink, and people quietly leave.
