Pros

Somewhat decent benefits. Good equipment provided. Good experience to have on the CV.

Cons

Horrible management team, lack of leadership and the ability to inspire. Rampant bullying enabled by HR and senior management. Nepotistic environment, friends of managers always are looked after. Cliques are present among long term staff. Excessive micromanagement. Unreasonable targets given with the intent of failure. Sink or swim attitude towards new employees. Laughable pay structure, well below market rate, increases are below inflation and not to mention compared to Germany and the U.S. especially given the fact that ireland has a higher cost of living. More concern for optics than employees wellness. Ineffective/Nonexistent HR department. Limited career progression paths and opportunities for upskilling. Attrition is ridiculously high. Agency/contract employees are treated like second class citizens and are not invited to company events. Pandemic employee supports were a joke/nonexistent and some employee benefits were rendered useless without compensation from SAP.

Pros

The people at SAP are genuinely nice, and the culture is generally supportive. The work-life balance is good to an extent, but when you're busy, you're BUSY. SAP is highly complex so expect to take a year to ramp up.

Cons

Only way to get a high salary is if you're hired externally. They do not reward employees who are loyal to the company. Closed opportunities often have to go through the Compensation Exception Committee, creating uncertainty around earnings. Prepare for constant change, whether that's solutions being removed from your sales bag, account shifts, territory realignments, or changing compensation policies. Quotas can be difficult to attain
