Pros
The company looks after the well being of its employees by providing good benefits a competitive salary and opportunities for professional development. Compensation is tied to personal and IBU business performance and the potential to over achieve is always available, and often attainable.
Cons
There is a form and a process for everything. Huge amounts of effort are expended to feed the bureaucracy, which is often administered by junior individuals who focus on their piece of the puzzle and not on the whole. It takes at least a year to build sufficient relationships and process knowledge to be productive. There often appears to be more checks than balances.
