There is little to no communication about the long-term vision or strategic goals from leadership, leaving us uncertain as to the future of our work. This brings me to my next point.
The CEO’s lack of clear focus on priorities creates confusion and misalignment throughout the organization, he always has a "new thing" but then is mad when nothing gets finished, making it difficult to know where to best invest time and energy.
Multiple roles have gone unfilled for months leaving team members without guidance. No Communications Team Leader, No Project Team Leader, No Ops Team Leader, No Sales VP, DEIB SVP. Most of these roles have been open since at least April and a couple for over year. This is likely a symptom of the lack of direction from the ELT, but the team members are suffering and then are blamed for not hitting goals.
I know at last 6 people applying for roles and hoping to leave, but at the same time hoping leadership gets it together because they like the work and the people beside them.
