You can always put your family and your life first, while you have fun growing your career! Our culture is faith, food, fun and friendship; and do it all for yourself and YOUR Family! Partnership w/my husband and the partnership program is unlike anything in corporate America, and it's Primerica's edge in the workplace. Who wants to wait a week, 2 weeks or a month for a paycheck? Primerica has daily pay cycles from multiple lines, you won't find this anywhere else! With direct deposit you get paid in a couple of days! You can qualify for a training Bonus in your 1st 30 days. I think the key benefit, and the most important factor in determining why you should plant your flag here versus any other firm, is because you can earn Ownership! Leadership training prepares you to run your own brokerage. You are taught to think as an owner, and you get to provide the service you'd expect to receive yourself. You are empowered to do what's right, 100% of the time, for everyone, always. You can REALLY focus on investments (not just hear it in the interview and then only sell life insurance) as a way to fulfill Primerica's mission of Helping families become financially independent, in addition to helping them become debt free and properly protected. Offering the right people the opportunity to work with you helps them improve their income (another tenant of Primerica's mission) and builds your brokerage. Yes, even part time, you can be a broker here! Most importantly, you get to work with people you like (both clients and agents), doing work that makes a difference in people's lives, for generations to come. The long lasting relationships have made the biggest difference in my life and the life of my family. The freedom of time has allowed me to volunteer more at my church, for community events and give more to causes we care about. We have the memories of being at every event our children participate in, to chaperone trips with them and the resources to pay for the activities and travel that is meaningful to us as a family. Speaking of travel, the company paid trips are AMAZING! They sponsor 3 trips a year (1 specifically for securities); for top producers, starting w/the newly licensed person, product producers and larger office leaders. There are other trips that our securities partners sponsor too. Are you an athlete who misses the competition and camaraderie? It's here! The recognition is fundamental to our culture. Cons

You must keep a schedule to be successful. A schedule for both personal and work related activities. Until you are independent, you have to shadow a mentor, so scheduling time is important. People flake. The appointments you set, don't all stick. It's the law of large numbers are at work here too, just like every other business based on appointments or reservations, (doctors, lawyers, hotels, airlines, etc.) You should expect to follow up often to connect with people or re-connect with them. The people who come to work with you, may not stay. Just like Wegmans for example, people don't work there forever, doesn't mean the people are bad, or the company, it's just the way life and business is; because business still needs to go on to serve our clients, we must either work a lot ourselves or like Wegmans, have lots of people to do the work and lots of people trained and ready to do the work, at all times, so business never stops and it keeps growing. It is your choice to recruit a team for your brokerage, you get to, you don't have to, to make money in Primerica.

Pros

Nice if you can make money by having people you recruited.

Cons

Mislead by being told about they have leads for you and that you will educate people about life insurance and other services. They are focused on recruiting.
