Watching a sales video of a head hauncho trying to make you believe you can just fall into a six figure position with a financial management company... I will never entrust someone with my money and future plans who comes off the street, gets a certificate in 3 months or less.
- None were asked, it's a sales zoom meeting to sell you a job. You basically work for yourself.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Primerica (Orlando, FL)
Wasn't even an interview- it was a presentation of how much money could be made. They take you into a room with a large group of people and it's very misleading. Since the company doesn't have a great reputation they try luring you in by avoiding the name Primerica. They use PFS Investments instead. After the "interview" I was sat at a table and told to go through my list of contacts and write them down for 'warm leads' vs 'cold leads'.
- They asked me who could I use in my contacts to bring in as an agent.

Mostly wanted to sell me to sell insurance to people. Was not for a position I applied to. After wards they wanted us to email the recruiter to get started.
- There were no questions, just a sales pitch.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Primerica (Fort Worth, TX) in May 2023
It was pretty straight forward besides the paying for your registration they do well when it comes to paying for your classes for your licenses. I very much enjoy the people I’ve meet and the process in general.
- Asked about your commutation and people skills.

I was called by an assistant of the regional vice president to schedule an interview. I had two interviews with the regional vp, followed by an hour long conversation with her.
- Standard questions that you would expect.

My interview was over Zoom with Brandon Smith. He reaches out personally and communicates very well. He explained what Primerica does through a PowerPoint that was in detail but not overwhelmingly
- What qualities do I bring to the table?

it went okay as they were introducing their businesses and how you get the licenses. it was a group interview. it was okay. why 30 words minimum. I run out of words
- what is your motivation for this?

I received a phone call to schedule an interview the next week after I applied. The interview process was fairly simple and through Zoom. It was a personal one on one interview.
- They asked about my schooling

The interview hindered my thoughts on the reputation of the company and the specific position. The interviewers were nice people but seemed too focused on a hire and selling the company. (Rather than asking about potential employee background and qualifications)

I was first recruited to Primerica last year, and am excited to begin working with them this year. It’s certainly an unconventional process, but it also seems to be similar to most insurance sales job “overview/interview” processes. Here are the details: -I clicked an add on facebook in the fall of 2022 about achieving financial security and wealth building -I was contacted by someone who set up an appointment with me to meet with an Insurance Agent (I did not know that is what she did at the time of making the appointment) -The Insurance Agent had a fairly mind-blowing (to me at least. knowing very little about the financial sector of at the time) and extremely informative presentation, at the end of which she both offered the product and to support me in becoming employed there. Later I asked if they recruit (or are expected to attempt to recruit) all of their potential clients to also be sales agents & she told me that no, she only offers that to individuals who seem very excited or motivated by the information she is sharing. -She then kindly & patiently, through a series of virtual meetings, walked me through the steps of joining the company, options for in person vs virtual classes “, and new agent’s personal investments including licensure fees (reimbursed by Primerica). -With the investment being minimal & my being in need of a way to generate income l, I did sign up, but it very quickly became evident to me that I couldn’t process the material quickly due to a chronic neurological -She accepted what was essentially a soft decline of the offer graciously & asked me to get back in touch if anything changed -This spring 2023 I am still job hunting & have been recruited heavily by other life insurance agencies & I met with her again to discuss my options -She reassured me that I am still active in the system, answered questions I had about lead generation & salary & welcomed me back after i let her know that I would like to proceef
- asked what ways i learn best to determine whether to place me in a virtual class
- asked about my general knowledge of finances
- asked about my own financial investments
